ABOUT

The Somatic Creatives Collective© is a space founded by sisters Daya Singh and Turiya Haudenhuyse, rooted in a lifelong relationship with music, embodiment, and creative expression.

The collective emerged from lived experience, from being inside the creative process, and from witnessing how deeply creativity is shaped by the nervous system.

Many artists carry tension, anxiety, pressure, or self-doubt because their nervous system has adapted to visibility, performance, expectation, and emotional exposure.

Rather than attempting to fix or push through these experiences, Somatic Creatives© works with them.

Creativity is approached through the body, with curiosity, pacing, and respect for individual capacity.

As sisters and collaborators, Daya and Turiya bring a relational foundation grounded in attunement and co-regulation. This allows the collective to hold spaces that feel supportive, responsive, and safe enough for exploration.

Somatic Creatives© is not focused on productivity or performance outcomes.

It exists to support reconnection to the body, to the voice, and to the creative impulse itself.

DAYA SINGH

TRAUMA COACH / SOMATIC PRACTITIONER / SINGER-SONGWRITER / ANIMAL OSTEOPATH

From an early age Daya was drawn to psychology, human behavior, and the ways our bodies and minds hold experience.

Her path first led her into Equine Osteopathy, where she discovered how deeply animals reveal our inner world. Through the Equisense project, she witnessed the capacity of horses to guide young people toward connection, confidence, and presence. Over time, her work naturally expanded into Equicoaching and later Somatic Serenity—a practice where she supports people in softeningheld patterns, building nervous system capacity, and reconnecting with a sense of resilience and self-trust.

Trained in Polyvagal Theory and nervous system education, Daya is especially interested in the connections between pregnancy, birth, early life experiences, and adult well-being. She shares practical, body-based tools that help people orient toward safety, regulation, and balance in daily life. In 2022, her journey also brought her to Costa Rica, where she became certified in Oncology Massage, offering supportive touch for individuals navigating cancer.

Through it all, music has remained her first language. For Daya, songwriting is medicine—a way to process, to connect, and to return to the core of being. It has accompanied her through life’s twists and turns, shaping her understanding of creativity as a powerful force for transformation.

Today, as co-founder of Somatic Songwriters, she weaves together her knowledge of the body, the nervous system, and the creative spirit—holding space for artists to explore their inner landscape and creative expression at a pace that feels safe, resourced, and alive.

Turiya Haudenhuyse, is a certified Brain-Based Voice Teacher, Mental
Performance Coach, and Opera singer. As the founder of VibrantVoice© Coaching, she specializes in supporting performers - singers, actors, and public speakers - who rely extensively on their voices. Turiya brings a unique, holistic approach to vocal training, combining the artistry of performance with neuroscience-based techniques and the focused discipline of athletic coaching.

With a rich background as a seasoned opera singer, Turiya holds a Masters in
Vocal Performance from the Royal College of Music in London and a Master in Concert Interpretation from the Haute Ecole de Musique, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Her singing career spans over 12 years, gracing stages at renowned opera houses such as Opéra Lausanne and Dutch National Opera. Notably, her exceptional portrayal of Dinah in Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti earned her glowing reviews in the New York Times.

Through her own experiences navigating the music industry, Turiya recognized a significant gap: the lack of attention to artists' mental well-being. This insight inspired her to establish VibrantVoice©, a coaching practice that transcends conventional methods by offering a comprehensive, holistic approach. She offers services that integrate MindBalance Coaching and Brain-Based Voice Training.

Her approach is designed to help artists achieve balance on mental, physical, emotional, and energetic levels.
